The DFW Technology & Education Council’s mission is to significantly increase the science, technology, engineering and math workforce in North Texas by providing special initiatives for K-12 and post-secondary through enhanced school and business partnerships.


Science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) are critical for students’ collegiate preparation, career opportunities, and personal development. Currently DFW TEC has three core programs to spark the flame of STEM in students Kindergarten – 12th grade in North Texas.

FIRST LEGO League Explore

Teams of students ages 6-10 focus on fundamentals of engineering as they explore real-world problems, learn to design, and code, and create unique solutions made with LEGO® bricks powered by LEGO® Education WeDo 2.0. [MORE…]
